We have two of these chairs in stock and ready to ship for $1070. They are some sample chairs we built for a show and are in perfect condition. The back panels on this chair are solid core Douglas Fir plywood (nothing you'll find in the lumberyard these days). Hemp upholstery.

If you would prefer a different wood or upholstery option, then order a custom built piece.

Just as comfortable to sit in as it is pleasing to look at. Constructed from salvaged Douglas Fir that gives each chair a unique character and sense of history. The vertebrae back design, reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright, uses nails from the salvaged timber. Available with a colorful green painted back, or with unpainted bookmatched fir back. Either way, a delight.

SIZE: 16"w 19"d 36"h

MATERIAL: Douglas Fir salvaged from industrial demolition sites. The limited supply of specific materials means that each stool is unique.

FINISH: Hand finished with tung oil. Over time the wood acquires a rich amber patina.
