End Table - Stretcher BaseTable legs turned at 45 degrees—a design element that’s echoed in the diagonal cross stretchers. Impeccable quarter sawn oak—somewhere a little acorn must be very proud. SIZE: 22"w 22"d 26.5"h PRICE: $1320 MATERIAL: White oak from salvaged wine casks. Quarter-sawn, with smoky burgundy highlights. French oak casks first put to use in 1905. Cresta Blanca winery, Livermore, CA. FINISH: Hand-rubbed shellac. Fumed in the traditional way with ammonia for a golden tan to dark brown coloring. The outer frames for the tabletop are darker and deeper in hue than the inner surface due to the oak’s previous life as a wine cask. Burgundy wine staining on legs. PRODUCTION TIME: 8 - 16 weeks RELATED ITEMS: |
